I keep being suprised at how awesome the ph1 looks head on. It's the wide arches that do it for me.

Any excuse to post photos.....

There a blue one on the "show us yr ph-quick" thread on here looks really aggressive.

out of interest
would a PH1 Front bumper with the 2 grilles below each headlight fit on a 1.4 2000 reg clio ? - like same age as 1 of them 172's ^^
Just out of interest as ive seen a 1.4 and could easily get hold of a 172 front bumper...
and ye they do look meaty head on :p

Ph1 looks much more agressive head on, I would pull the f**k over if I get one in my rear view mirror!

Naturally, I like the way all clio's have been styled ;) but to me the ph1 172 looks much better from the front.

I don't mean this to offend anyone at all but I had no idea there was any difference to the front end of the ph2 172 to a standard ph2 before I started visiting this site as the difference in styling is more subtle and hard edged, with a ph1 the slotted vents are the first thing you notice.
