All work was done by specialists, which explains why 10k was spent (which includes price of alarm, plate etc). The number plate explains my username and why i call her lusty clio.

Any feedback positive or negative will be much appreciated

Take the wing and lexares lights off and it would look Very good i thinks :)

looks like its been well done, but just too ott for me, but then some would say the same for my car so each to his own, so craftsmanship and effort 10 out of 10

Workmanship looks good, wheels aren't big enough for the style of the car, and not complex enough. Lights I'm not a fan of, but understand you need something different. Lose the wing as well, doesn't suit it.

Paintjob's impressive... :)

also its a mk2 ph2, so im guessing you paid about 6 for the car, plus 10 for the work....money wasted - you could get a 350z and many other much faster better cars for 16k

I hate bodykitted clio's, just doesn't work full stop.

But i reckon that would look MUCH better on some 18/19" kei racing wheels, loose the shopping trolley.

Cheers for the comments so far guys, thats what i want- honest opinions.

I admit the wing did take a bit of getting used to and i get mixed reactions in it. Some people point and laugh, some shake their heads at me in it and others absolutely love it and are all over it.

It sounds silly but i wanted it to look ott, mad, outrageous, rediculous. It gives the car character and makes it more interesting in my opinion.

I paid £6750 for the car brand new, and had to get a small engine as i was only 18 2 yrs ago and insurance would have raped me if i went any bigger engine wise.

Surprisingly none of the mods have increased the insurance and all is declared. They said if you make it look like a 172 with badging, bumpers etc then it will increase insurance as it makes it more desireable to nick if people think its a 2.0ltr.

Keep the comments coming guys...

It's not my cup of tea but fcuk me 10/10 for effort, great show car, maybe get bigger rims and some spacers fill the arches and it will look good :)

Ah yes, and i love them in that colour too.

You can't beat a blue, er.. red, er... brown, er...y ellow, er... purple clio:S

Ditch the lexus rear lights and the front lights though...bit too much.

Needs a badge on the front IMO.

Nice paint job mate.:approve:

How do you mean??

Ive had a few comments about removing the rear lights. Why is this??

I went for LED's cuz they last longer and take up less power from the battery than normal ones, which i needed as the sound system drains the battery a bit with normal rear lights.

nice paint job, would look loads better without the wing but who cares if you like it good all round effort though!!

There are bits that would look mint, if the other bits wernt there! Love the skirts and the rear bumper/zorst. Mirrors look ok, not much for the lower splitter thing or the bonnet vent but other thank that looks good! quality of the work looks top notch anyway

The lower splitter is part of the bumper, which is a bit of a pain with regards to speed bumps etc.

The bonnet is pure carbon fibre, which i had painted with the car.
Went for carbon fibre as its lighter and stronger than the original, which i kept getting dents in the front of when people pushed on the bonnet to close it.

ah right, bet that looks mint when the sun hits it then. Personally I think i would have gone for the big smooth 'extreme' bumper but thats just me lol

I've heard it all now, lol. If you have a big system and have issues with the power get a proper uprated battery designed for big installs or add an additional one along with an uprated altenator and split charge system.

As for the car its not to my taste. As a couple of the others have said the front and rear lights need changing and the wheels dont suit it either and thats before i start on the bodykit...

  2LTR 16V TURBO CLIO!
Wicked colour!

Was surposed to have that done on mine i paid 2.5k plus paint for it and it come out deep cacky purple!:(

Gettin it redone now tho! (a yr later!) (blk & silver)

Bigger rims would be better;)

Any pics off your install?

looks very extreme man, great effort. But please change the rims to something a little more in your face stylee

  Cooper S JCW
I personally don't think the clio shape suits a rear wing!

That is a quality paint job though!

Just about the rims- I went for 17's cuz i didn't wan the car dominated by huge silly looking wheels, and wanted the emphasis on the bodywork and paint. Also i think any bigger than 17's would put more pressure on the wheel bearings, and could possibly cause other problems- I sound like a right grandad dont I!!

"Now then, where are my slippers":quiet:
