Fitted my coilovers last weekend only to find when they where on that the front platforms where seized. I did try and move them when they where off the car but I couldnt hold them tight enough to have a good attempt at moving them. This made me very happy....

So the nasty standard shocks and springs are back on for the time being until i get the platforms cut off the old ones, clean up the coils and get some replacement platforms fitted.

Just like to say thanks to the guy who sold me these coilovers on here who said the fronts moved freely. Your a prick.

Didnt even notice that u dont have a front splitter, lol, coz the car is black itself hehe...

But a splitter will finish the look of the car off

The first question I asked before buying was along the lines of "are they seized" to which he said something like "they are abit stif but move fine"

Bullshit!

I fitted them about a month after I bought them, so now he has the cheek to say they where fine when he sent them so they must of seized up since ive had them. LOL, comical.

End of the day, I cba with returning them, I just want him to pay for the replacement platforms from Gaz which are about £40 posted which I think is fair enough. But he wont do this as its to long after I bought them...

Yes of course and I couldnt move them. I wanted to wait until they where on the car so i could more force into moving them as I couldnt do this with them off the car due to lack of a vice etc
