a tub of the Carbon Wax will probably last you 10 years or more mateQuote: Originally posted by jonnyboy on 26 March 2004

I used Zymol once and it was the worst my car ever looked. I now use Turtle Wax Extreme and their Gloss Guard and everyone says my car looks brand new, even the salesman at the BMW garage where I was the other day with it, thought it was a brand new car (personal plate so age not evident).Quote: Originally posted by Black16v on 20 April 2004

nah.. i spent all day polishing that (cough cough)....
however i did use "mer" when i go home and it shined even more!!...
black is very hard 2 polish!!! arghhh
Isnt Mer slightly abrasive? If so, that is the worst thing to put on a newly painted car - as someone said, the paint is still soft and shouldnt really be polished for a week or two! The paintshop will have polished it!!

No I used my hubbys stuff, as he used it ages ago before Halfords started selling it, because he got some from a motorshow down south some time ago. He has more patience than me which is needed with Zymol!!
You are kidding of course BRUN!! http://www.click-smilies.de/sammlung0304/mittelgrosse/medium-smiley-002.gifQuote: Originally posted by BRUN on 20 April 2004

True u are correct -- but it wasnt like the car was sparyed the same day i picked it up! the car was sprayed bout a week before i picked it up.Quote: Originally posted by Daz on 20 April 2004
You polished a car when you got it home, just after a respray?
Shouldnt.. should leave it at least a week.. sometimes more!
Paints soft still!
