Pondering over a Vinyl wrap...

Recently started a new job in a printers, so now have the ability to make my own vinyl wraps, stickers, anything along those lines 2bh.

For what it'll cost me it seems daft not to have a go for something different.

Couple of questions..

Does the adhesive damage paintwork over time?

Would you go for clear vinyl so the black over the bonnet shows through or is it likely to gather dirt and look poo?

Want something a bit abstract and offset

Bit like this...

But purely red on black

Car it's going on..

Any idea's? Yeh or Ney?

people use clear wraps to protect there rolls royces so i dont think that it will damage your paint. as you say you can do it yourself its worth a go - if you dont like it you can just take it off no loss!

If we was a company who vinyl wrapped cars yes, we do warehouse labelling along with racking, flooring, anything warehouse safety

the only thing with a vinyl wap is you wont cover all the coloured paint when you open doors etc unless you start takin doors off etc, ive been looking at my clio and like i say, to cover the entire door shut i.e. where the door hinges, then the door will have to come off. same with tailgate. im contemplating doing it myself but i would want it doing so you cant tell its been wrapped. but i cba taking doors/tailgates off etc.
