Hello everyone I'm after some opinions on fitting powerflex bushes to my 182 which is being used as a daily drive with the occasional bit of energetic driving.
1.Do they make much of a difference over standard rubber bushes ?
2.Do you go normal or go black series ?
Cheers

I've got powerflex black series wishbone bushes. Didn't notice a difference.

Purple series dogbone, good option, takes alot of movement out the gearbox for better gear changes.

Black series rack bushes, can't say as I noticed much difference as my original mounts weren't in bad shape anyway.

It's a road car, may be more noticeable on track.

I fitted the black engine mount and dogbount bushes along with a vibra techs upper gearbox mount and there is a definite improve with gear changes and throttle response, car has more feedback as well. But if you're not keen on rattling your brains out and shouting to your passenger then stick to the yellow upper, though the dogbone bush didnt really add any more vibration, I did each one in steps and could see the improvements each one made separately

Purple for a daily.

Mine felt tighter when I fitted them, but I did also change the lower arms for genuine ones with new ball joints and solid top mounts also.

They will last longer than standard though.

I had the valver refreshed with all new OEM kit - was night and day better than my old saggy suspension, and the standard bushes were just fine in terms of NVH but also giving 'tight' handling.

I've gone with full polybushes on another car since and OMG those concrete dual carriageways with expansion joints every 20yards do my ****ing head in lol. They just 'ping' through the whole car every time!
