Pressed Plates Finally On!

After royal fail lost the first set, 2 weeks later they are finally here. Big improvement over the knackered old ones which still said the car was from Bournemouth.

cheers all.

plates are from ebay trader plate_mate. Highly recommended - royal mail lost the first set they sent out, asked me to wait 2 weeks so he could claim from RM and also to see if they would turn up - no sign after the two weeks so he sent a new pair special delivery completely free of charge on the same day. Cant ask for more than that.

They do loads of different styles including french and german, as well as non-pressed.

Am I right in thinking that there's a loop hole in the law, that lets you have pressed plates?

I had them on my old 206GTi and got told they are not road legal by a traffic cop. Had to remove them but never did in the end.

Cars between 1973 and 2001 I believe can get away with pressed plates (not black pressed plates) but to an everyday copper they're not gonna care and say everything's illegal.

Are they reflective mate?
