Is it possible to turn the feature off where the radio gets louder at speed to compensate for noise cos its seriously doing my head in, its well bad on a B road thrape!!

yes mate, read the book, go into expert mode and set the speed to 0

press and hold down source, then select the speed menu and turn to the lowest setting eg 1 not sensitive to speed, 5 very sensitive to speed.
