I recently had a cambelt change and car has been fine but then suddenly as i was driving steadily to work last week i got a strange rattle which i could feel through the whole of the dash board as soon as i pull away and every gear. but wont make a noise at idle or rev in neutral. but i narrowed it down to the manifold hitting on the sub frame. when the car is jacked up you can see there is only about a centimetre between them both. it sounds really bad. anyone had this problem or know how it could be raised up or is this where the engine has been moved about because of the cambelt change? any feedback on this would be appreciated because the noise is a nightmare
