Rattling(tinny noise) When accelerating.

Hey guys,

my Janspeed system has been on my 182 about 2-3 weeks now and ever since i have been happy with the noise from the xhaust but i also have a horrible little tinny noise. I have done a search and saw that people had probelms with their bolts/springs being loose. I have then just checked this out on my car and they are loose as hell!!!!!!

How do i know if they are totally knackered, is there a full replacement kit for manifold to cat?

Is it the cat to manifold joint? you can get a cheap setup but it maybe worth paying the genuine renault kit, its a little expensive but from what ive read on here its the best, if you want a have NW performance kit brand new you could have for very very cheap

Yes mate get a genuine Renault replacement kit. I've got one waiting to go on. Was £27.06 from my local stealers. I've got a cheaper one on mine and it's been s**te since it was first fitted so hopefully this'll sort it!

Yeah i'm 99% it's the joint. Just been under the car and the bolt is rusted to hell! There is abit of a gap between the cat and manifold, i think like 3-5mm. Most annoying noise, especially when all you want to hear is the sweet sound of your exhaust! I'll get the genuine kit as I don't like skimping on anything when it comes to my car.
