RB PH-1 Hits Cadwell park

Well it was our first time at Cadwell today.....what a circuit.

After i destroyed the Diff at croft the other week we decided to purchase a Quaife LSD, after a bit of a rush the car was all back together late last night.

Carl and Jacko drove the track car down to Cadwell early this morning whilst i drove up from Coventry (A46 WORST ROAD in the UK :dapprove

We met at Cadwell and did the usual briefings ect. Some how the Car only make 93DB today whereas last week it made 101DB.

Morning sessions went well, car was running nice after a few laps and a bit of practise with the LSD we were putting in some decent laps.

It pissed down over lunch.

After lunch the track took about 1 hour to dry, it was really slippy through, Hall bends and Barn due to the trees.

Ones it dried out again it was really good fun. We are still suffering from a bit to much understeer, so think some softer front spings may be on the cards.

it is when the car is not moving, i will drag out the pics.

id look at your top mounts but when pushing a car the wheel its leaning on to does tilt over, neggy camber is put in so that you get less lean when pushing hard, also take a look at stifening the rear to stop the front leaning so much.

how on earth do you know same load etc?

what tyres was foxy using? R888's? same road surface? same track?

if not you cannot compare. The printout doesnt lie.

exactly! we use comp top mounts (already on the car when we got it) obviously not the best but they do for now with camber bolts. The coilover setup is taken from FMP with 750lb rear springs and revalved to suit. The front is still too stiff though.

You sure you havent got worn bushes for the wishbones or similar. If they are moving under load then that will be causing the understeer. The print out may show neg camber when stationary, but this will change on the move if as said bushes etc are shagged.

thanks mate, looking at getting some poly bushes for the whole car so possibly i think this could be the next move

Wasnt too long ago you were part of that group Barron, lighten up and take the criticism, posting on a public forum is not always going to get you the answers you want to hear, with positive comments come negative ones, your car may have negative at a standstill but theres definately something not right when running, people are letting you know this so you can maybe have a look at whats wrong, learn to accept peoples comments, your car looks great but dont you want it to run great as well.
