re-map?

  Clio 1.5 dci
I'm considering getting my Dci 65 re-mapped. i don't want too much of a gain so that the clutch etc can still easily cope as i don't want to be forking out for new parts like that but the re-map is £299 and done through Revs-west who are meant to one of the better people within devon. the re-map will give me gains of an extra 25bhp and 55nm of torque and if driven like i haven't just stolen the car a better mpg figure. The car is just so sluggish at the moment i wanted a way to liven it up a little so i though a re-map would be perfect.

what do people reckon?

Was so hesitant about getting mine done. Been done for nearly 6k miles and love it, touch wood still not a niggle.
Transformed the car.

Im getting mine done soon, Tonka how noticeable would you say the acceleration increase is?

Autotrader says the 0-60 on a dci 100 is 10.6 what would u say it is with remap?

It is very noticable, got to be a bit below 10 seconds now.

It's all about the Torque, keep's up with 172's all day long. Ask Martin about his story with his dCi 100 Remapped against a 172. :rasp:

Well worth remapping all modern diesels, the manufacters have to massively compromise on the standard maps.

I like the sound of that! So if you raced a 172 off the line it would win obvs, but from around 50mph if you both put your foots down the dci would be gone?
