Just buy new disks with them already pressed in, far far easier.

I never used a press doing mine... Used a big socket and hammered it in. If I had to do it again though I'd use the bearing press at work!

+1 Its soooo much easier doing it this way, if you shop around you should be able to get them for a reasonable price

If you do want to just get the bearings then make sure the bore is nice and clean and as free from rust as possible, then just take your time knocking it in to make sure its square
 
so it is something i can do then (im confident in doing anything as long as i got then equipment ie havent got a press :( ) i have drums so im gessing i take the drums off and they will be "attatched" to the drums?

i used a hammer to get the old one out it didnt work :eek: the little bearing things went flying everywhere like a nail-bomb lol. in the end i took the hub and new bearing to the garage where they pressed the old one out (12 tons of force :eek: ) and pressed in the new one for free:D
