rear suspension top mounts

do these exist?

i know it sounds like a stupid question as they springes and dampers must be "mounted" somehow, but i was just wondering if they can wear away, having found out that my front top mounts are buggered.

would want to have everything replaced while i am at it!!

being rubber they do perish and crack. however shouldnt cause any real problems unless they have been tightened up mega and fully split.

yes, they exist. had new rear shocks last week and they included rear top mounts. the old ones were creaking a bit and were pretty perished. new ones have done the trick

if you have coilovers mate your new dampers should have new top mounts? cant rememeber if you have coilovers or not lol

pah, do i have coilovers, i invented coilovers (well, the problems they cause anyway )

koni dampers come with new top mounts different to the renault ones but thats all i have ever seen, i wonder how well some solid ones would work ....
