rear wheel bearing charge

Both sides? Parts supplied?

Did you say anything to the garage? Did you get a price before they did anything?

i had the car up on ramps before i took to garage and had no play in any wheels so i couldnt find out what one had gone.I know i can get the backs complete with bearing and abs ring for cheaper. That was just one side

I don't understand, you say you know you can get the backs for cheaper complete.

So what do you want people to say?

Garages have rent, tax, water, electric, wages, vat, heating and tea bags to pay for. It's not going to be cheap is it.

if i had known the rear bearing was gone then i would of got the rears together with discs.what im saying is i thought it was the front bearing so it went to garage to have a bearing pressed in.

yeah that's a bit steep, for BOTH rear bearings fitted we'd be that price, but as said 90% of people just have new rear discs complete fitted
