Recomend a decent seat?

Yo

I cant get on with the seat in my 172, I broke my back last year and due to that have a problem with chairs.

Unfortunately this one doesn't agree and is causing more pain than i want to put up with for 2 hour a day.

The wifes car is a 2008 megane, the drivers seat is one i can sit in for hours with no more than normal pain!

If i was to buy a complete seat, would it be possible to fit it with not much retrofitting into my 172?

Would make me much more proud of my 172 then :clown:

Really your only options are standard 1*2 seats or Recaros.

Failing that you will have to look at aftermarket seats.

Are the recaros comfy? Any advice on aftermarket seats for the clio ?

No idea on the Recaros for comfort, best advice I can give is test any set before you buy.

Personally I run Bimarco Futuras fixed back bucket seats, not sure they will be suitable for you due to your back.

Yea, have looked at some fixed position seats, But instantly found them unsuitable.

On the stock clio seats the upper part that seems to cup under my shoulders is too pronounced to causes my back to curve more than it should need too... Which after 20 mins causes some more pain than i like.

Anywhere i can go to try out seats? I already know the meganes seats will fit me but others not so much

What about standard Clio seats, the backs may be flatter?

Good shout there mate. Those may be more like the normal megane ones that fit me well.
Will have a look and see if my mates normal clio ones are a nice fit

Well the main problem is the lumber support on my chair is sunken in. Needs more support
