removing a programme from start menu in XP?

ive uninstalled a programme and its gone. But when i go to start then all programmes its still listed there on the end. How do I remove this part of it as well?

Right Click on it "Delete"

Right Click on the start button >> Properties >> Customize >> Clear list

Right Click 'Start' button -> Explore -> Programs -> Highlight and delete.

last post worked, others didnt. It wasnt a recent used shortcut it was an actual programme link.
