Replacing F4R Sump Gasket...

  RS6+ & 40d MSport X5
Do I need any special tools?

When I fit the new gasket, do I need sealer too?

How long should it take to do without a ramp?

You'll need 1/4 drive e-torx sockets as larger won't fit in the holes at box end.

No sealer needed. Probably 3 to 4 hours, bit awkward but not too nasty

Remember to drain the oil before you do it ;)

and that is all my input consists of.

Good advice that! O and also refill when you're done! :rasp:

Getting the sump out can be tricky. I had to lower the sub-frame on my 172 to get enough room!
