RSi Tunning options

  1.8 8v RSi
I'll probably have better luck on williamsclio with this but worth a try here....
i know there's a remap u can do for it and a decat
(decat im giving a miss as im tryin to keep it legal)
engine conversions have come into mind but im looking
for a strong, reliable, powerfull engine thats got a fair
bit of power as stock and fit nicely into the car and
weight roughly the same as a williams lump.
I know its gonna cost a bit.

Otherwise

I'm thinkin of keeping the RSi engine and making it stronger
and if possible strong enough to take a custom
supercharger/turbo charger?
I just want something a bit different.
Although a williams/valver turbo would keep me happy.

Maybe im on a power craze....the rsi power did it for me last week but this week i want something faster...
Any help appreciate

ok this is where i start getting lost.....
2.0 bottom end is bottom half of willy engine put on which does what?

and who can do super/turbo charger? and if i get that done do i have to upgrade any other engine internals? and can that be done on a standard RSi engine...

Its the laguna one I belive you use as the rsi has a different oil and coolent passages. best ask Matt black for definate.

Noone does the super or turbo chargers itsa but your own and fit jobbie.

Depend how much boost you run and how its mapped etc as to how it runs.

Yes its the Laguna 2.0 8V bottom end that can be fitted..

gains of around 15bhp when remap i imagine, but shed loads more torque!

When i had my RSi i spoke to Nick at Hillpower he has tuned quite a few RSi's before and is a very knowledgeable chap.. with head work, exhaust manifold work, different cam and remap they can make around 135 - 145bhp?

Ive got an RSi superchip if your interested PM me ;)
