Rust under edge of windscreen

Took the cowling off to get the heater blower out and there was loads of sludge under the seal.

Noticed that there was some rust on the metal thats right at the base of the windscreen thats flaking off. Is this a problem?

Depends how bad, get some waxoyl on there asap so it doesnt get any worse, treat it first if you can be bothered.

Cool. Do you think it needs a new seal or is this sludge typical?

you always get cra under there as the seal on the windscreena int great and the scuttle vents for fuse box and ECU let laods in.

Cheers fella. Ill dry it out this coming w/e I think and then treat it and waxoyl it.
