Been dying to detail this but this week and has been disgusting so it just hasn’t happened so that’s really pissing me off as I’ve had all week off.
Tyre pressure warning come up, closer inspection someone had run the front right tyre flat and you could see the sidewall was severely weakened. Not sure how I missed that but £380 later it had two new Pirelli scorpion things up front.

Then today coming home, I promptly stamped on the throttle from a standing start to enter the roundabout, full surge of torque and the f**king thing flew sideways, not just a little bit but facing the roundabout, rescued it, just about. But it must’ve looked pretty decent from the outside 🤣 not even my old 5.2 V10 S6 could do that without serious provocation!
Anyway, due to the above it’s now broken, it squeaks when lifting the suspending up and down when at standstill and also at low speeds when going over slight bumps, whoops.

hoping I’ve just dislodged a bush or something 🤣

I’ve finally managed a day on it. Still didn’t get anywhere near what I wanted done but it’s presentable. One side needs a complete wet sand due to previous spraying as once all the silicone s**t and worn off it was matte and a bit orange peeled. No one would notice now unless you have an eye for it. 3 panels and about 20 passes each with different pads and compounds

Yer it’s not going to look as clean as this very often

will be a long way off selling it. I love it too much. Took it for a random drive the other day, not done that since I had my 55.
Ah right i thought after the 200mph club the other day you might get the bug again.

It does look the part and i bet it goes well when you push on.

I’d love a Porsche 997 turbo, fell in love with one at Vmax but I’m happy with this for now.
I’m also no longer employed so buying another car would be difficult 🤣

Very nice car you’ve got there. They look like 21 inch style 5007.

You’ve probably got the beat engine in that too. The V8 SC is great but you’d be looking at getting half of that MPG unless you’re sat on a motorway.

Im sure I’ve read the V8 diesel isn’t any worse than the V6? But miles more reliable.

I get about 400 miles from £100-110 in my Discovery.

Very reliable but there’s a fix you can do yourself on the 2nd turbo to drain it. Land Rover claimed it was fixed but owners are still experiencing issues.

Not heard of the turbo draining, what’s that all about then?
Firstly you should speak to your local LR dealership to see if the recall has been done or even needs to be completed. Just because they say it doesn’t need doing doesn’t necessarily mean it isn’t required.

There’s a guide on how to do it for the dealers butI can’t share it as it’s behind a pay wall.

Now has Apple car play, wireless too. Well happy. JLR nav is dog s**t, so waze is a must anyway, don’t want some pikey phone mount so I bought a unit which ties in with all the original hard ware. All wires hidden and tucked behind the dash.

Just need a grommet for the after market aux 3.5mm then I’ll be happy.
