It should still show your time and temp even with the radio off . Maybe there's a break in the wire or there's a problem with the sensor itself . I wouldn't have a clue how to check that tbh .
Good luck finding it :up:The time is always displayed, it’s just the temperature that’s missing.
Must be a break in the sensor wiring. Should be fun tracing that if it’s not disconnected!

I'm sure you'll be able to fix it :tonguewink:Didnt know the screen says the radio station! Hmm, why doesnt mine 😧

I don't think so . I used to have a 51 plate 172 , that had the temp sensor / temp and radio display on the dash the same as my 182 .Or could it be because its an 02 plate??
Mine does it and it's an 02. What does yours show frequency or nothing?Or could it be because its an 02 plate??

I have traced the sensor back to the connection under the mirror panel.
Looks to be on pins 3 and 4, green and brown cables on the door side of the socket and measure 8.7ohm across the pins.
I am assuming the sensor is ok if there is resistance so the cable must be broken/disconnected somewhere else along the way?
Has anywhere got locations of all cables/connections or will it be a case of removing half the interior to follow the cable along...?
