Hi Guys,

Ive decided i want my bullets on the side of my 182 painting, im going to go for anthracite with silver lettering.

The question is do i have my 2.0 16v badges done, or the dci badges that i bought a while back?

Lets hear your opinions....

edit - could a mod add a pole for me please?

lol well i already own a 2.0 badge and dci badge so figure it may as well be one of them two. it would be 1.2 or 2.0 ideally but the 1.2 badges are pretty rare it seems.

It's all about badging a car down...making it look less than it is. Suprises people more, makes it more of a sleeper i guess?

I wouldn't be fooled by a couple DCI door badges on the side of a twin tail piped racing blue Clio. Most people seem to go the other way, wasting hard £££ onmodding a 1.2 when they could've just saved it and bought a 1*2

Keep with the 2.0 16v badges mate

You wouldnt, but arrogant luxury car drivers more than likely would be

I'll more than likely stick to the 2.0 badges, just thought id seej out some opinions first

I dont understand this thread, why on earth do you want people to think its a slow diesel? Clio's are sleepers anyway compared to say a posh merc or bmw, I dont think a gay little badge on the side of the car is gonna make people think any different!!

+1 that

I thought about doing this, and there are 2 reasons why I am not going to:

1) I completely and utterly fucked up one of the DCi badges

2) Driving home after collecting the car last night, probably all of 15miles on the clocks and waiting to pull away from a set of lights a guy pulls up and next to me and is breaking his neck to get a decent look at my car! Makes me think downbadging is pointless...

Don't really see the point on a normal looking RS.

If it was, say a 1.2 that had a engine conversino, but 1.2 bodykit, then keeping the old badges on could be fun for total sleeper look.

The last thing I'd look for to tell me what a car is would be the side badges. And if they don't know what the car is from its appearance, then they're not going to know to look at the bullets.

Just sprayed my bullets anthacite, just need to decide on what colour to do the writing in now.

Either blue lettering and blue front badge / silver lettering and anthracite front badge

2.0 because I've never seen the point in buying the top of the range car (RS Clio) and then putting badges on it so people who don't have a clue think it's a diesel. In my opinion you want people to know that its a 2.0
