Pure bucket that.
Had a swatch of it the other day.
High mileage, bumper cracked, gash lights and spoiler.
Oh and Adam reckons its got a problem with the boot cos it sticks out much further on the left than it does on the right.
Much better out there.
Saleman said they got it off the Bank of Scotland. Said the owner chopped it in half way through his finance agreement.
They've got it sitting at £9995.
If it was a better example, i'd be tempted, insurers only want £300 to upgrade from a 182 to a vee! Thank you please.

You know, i remember thinking that looked odd with the black surround, but i wasn't sure if vees came like that!

Badges do look ridiculously squint in that pic!
Didnt look as bad in real life!

Definately a no go'er!

You both missed the unpainted boot lock surrond,

loads of vees have that. theres all sorts of different combination of boot lock surround, matt finished, gloss finished, black, body coloured, and also the size varies from car to car. the early ones have a really small boot lock:

Yes early Mk1s had wee ones in black. Some later Mk1s had Mk2 style.

Mk2s had big ones, some were black.

Been to that garage when we were looking for a meg coupe for my gf, 90% of their cars were sheds, we were there for about 2 minutes before deciding we weren't touching the coupe they had!

Aha, thats my new piece of clio knowledge for today!
To nit pick, a few late 51 reg's have the big mk2 surround, but in black. All of the 02 reg ones i've seen are colour coded (as per my one)

I think that Newms's old vee is a 52 reg, but with the earlier small boot lock on it.

Parts bin specials the lot of them ! ;)

I text Alan about this and he said it was a reet shed.

I thought it wasnt bad, just the lights, and cracked bumper along where the exhaust sits. Also had a custom unknown exhaust on it.

Sounded really nice when started up.

The boot lid was odd actually. Gap was wider on one side than the other. Oh and the Lexarse light on the drive side had a scratch when the bumper covers the corner of the light. Wasnt just a scratch it was quite deep and matched the curve of the bumper.

PS - Davey C giggled like a school girl when he started it up.
