slight play in stearing wheel side side movement steering rack?

what sighns steering racks worns? side side quick movement on the wheel theres slight play not to worried?

I've just had a problem similar and it was the steering rack bushes that were completely shot away. It was allowing the steering rack to move from left to right on it's own abit lol.

yeah i mean i got the k tec bush kit fitted but if that a different thing to steerign rack bushes>? if so i got change whole rack might just leave it lol?
