Solid Mounts Question

Got a quick question regarding solid mounts.

I bought my trophy for the suspension and the fact it handles unbelievably with at the sachs on it.
I have changed and upgraded some items on the car to help and improve the handling.

1, AST Soild Top Mounts
2, Powerflex Dogbone Mount
3, Powerflex Bottom Arm Bushes

Now that i have done the above i do get some interior vibration and i feel every pebble & stone on the road never mind cobbles or pot holes.

Would it be worth doing the uprated top engine mount or would it be too stiff and would i be better off just replacing it with a standard renault item ?

Marc, maybe I'm the only one but it's not very clear what you're aiming to achieve. Are you trying to reduce interior vibrations or are you asking if stiffer engine mounts will push you over the edge into insanity?

Have you seen (can't remember his name!) the ph1 is the Netherlands? Bought "ktec race/track" engine mounts then promptly put up a thread & video saying the vibrations were horrific.

i was looking to see about getting the car solid and having it like a train on rails but i don't want the hassle of the noise and vibrations.

As i say i already feel every rock, stone & fly thats on the road with having my current set up and the vibration is not that bad at all.

I hardly noticed much difference when I fitted mine tbh. But I hadn't driven it for a while and already had poly dogbone. Your more than welcome to come and have a seat in my car with the engine running if you wish!

As most have said they do indeed increase vibrations. However with full interior it would be less noticable.

At first it was pretty annoying, now I hardly notice it.
