not to sure about the clio my mate has got a r5 turbo with the cobra imola r's in and he had to get the side mount seats they are a fixed bucket so he had to take the old subframes out and drill the holes for the side mount frames
word of warning though his failed the mot with side mounts in
i cant remember excatlly it was something to do with the seats bein held at the side and if there was a crash the side mounts would buckle and they were fia approved seats which arent road legal and there is some thing on tweeks about that but we knew the mot guy so we got away with it but the only way to get round it now is to get to know ur mot guy and persuade him to class them as standard seats
Well depends if they are that clued up I suppose. My garage seem to be better at finding mechanical faults etc than worrying about chaff. Which I guess makes sense because they wont make any money from telling me about the seats but if the pads were low or something like that they'll be right on it expecting to be paid to fit new ones
