Specialists in/around the Ipswich area??

I'm looking for a relatively local specialist where i can take my 182 to. I would rather pay good money taking it to the right place where people know the cars well than spending more money in the long run.

Any suggestions??

Im from Stowmarket, I take my car to 519 Automotive in bedford for anything special.

Danny at 519 I've never been but followed a lot of his work for years on the mk1 forum and it's top quality, ordered a few bits from him myself and customer service is top notch

Would i be best taking my car to a dealer for a service or just a reliable local garage, ideally i would like to go to someone who has worked on 182/172's before and knows what to look out for??

I'm in Norwich and anything i can't do, or mates can do, i'll take it to Matt at TDF, well worth the drive, and cheaper than the main dealers

im in ipswich and use a place called colbourne engineering (may not be spelt correctly) just off woodbridge road, if you know where that is. He is a renault specialist my car is in with him as we speak for cambelt/clutch etc.

According to Google, Ipswich to 519 Automotive is 77 miles, so about 90 mins driving. Job done I'd say!

You will not find any other specialists in this part of the country who are more knowledgable and happy to help than Dan!
