no sub on the top port on the side

i dont really understand all this sq,spl stuff but my system will not be vibrating the bolts loose on my car

i only have a sub for a little bit of extra bass so will it make that much difference?

if you want your sub for a little more bass, use a sealed box. will give you a much tighter sound, thus better sound quality and it will use a smaller box. also much easier to make, and no port noise.

^ true but will be quiter, and if its ported and tuned low will prob cater more to your wants, should be fine, but usually they say keep port of same side as sub.
