The BMW Thread

Don’t particularly think my car warrants its own project thread as it’s standard 3 series, I don’t plan on modding a great deal. so figured I’d make a thread for everyone to post there Beemers instead.

Cars a 330e saloon shadow spec in grey, 0-60 in 6.1s and does 20-25 miles electric only.
It’s got most of the options ticked including Idrive with the bigger screen, only downside is the pedo spec cream seats.
BMW to there credit have done an ace job of making it drive like any other 3 series genuinely can’t tell the difference between it and the 320D I had previously.

Plans for the future are a remap once the warranty runs out which should take it up to 350ish bhp.

Yup, needs better pics and more info, what is the genuine electric range, overall mpgs etc.
Also, im not sure saying it drives like a 320d is a positive, being that they are rattly, noisy povvo cylinder diesel things :ROFLMAO:
PS. Just keep it about your own car, plenty of BMW content on here!!

I think they're great cars! How's the boot space? We've looked at a 530e but that was very unpractical due to the big battery pack severely limiting loading space.

See plenty of these about, they seem to go fairly well on the couple of occasions i have been next to one at the lights, must make a good daily mate... (y)

Seen a 545e the other day, well i think it was, it was dark, looked really nice.

Agreed plan on getting some decent shots this weekend.

Genuine electric range is 20 miles in winter temps. Got 25 on a 30° day over the summer.
Quoted range is 28 miles range, I’ve never achieved this but it’s not a new car so maybe that’s not a surprise. Will get mid 40s mpg when batteries completely flat so not terrible for a petrol either really.

Haha true but I did really like the 320, underrated car imo.

I’ve just bought myself a BMW. No pics until I’ve finished de-chavving it and had it cleaned and generally tidied it up.

this is what I’m dealing with…

What the actual f**k is wrong with people, why is there an obsession with those grill add ons? I saw what looked like a 60 year old in a Jewish Racing Gold 320d e92 coupe last week with them and an M badge along with F30 style M Performance decals on the side skirts... it was a f**king SE for christ's sake!

I’d rather have headlight eyelashes than those stupid M grill covers. They’re horrible.

To be fair they’re the least of my worries…

And I thought our car was due a good interior clean after a month of not being hoovered!

Wife’s f10 530d. Had it mapped and fitted some better front disks/pads as found them very poor as standard. Goes very well for its size but is too big to have too much fun with on B roads.

My f11 525d. It’s an early one so shares the exact same engine as the 30d. As with the wife’s it’s been mapped, sees over 300bhp and happily returns 35+mpg mincing about

They are also absolutely awesome at carrying 5m deck boards 👌
