i think there is no way u would see those gains with matched inlets and a map.

stick your camera phone under the fuel rail guaurd and take a pic, you should be able to see it, unless the fuel rail guaurd covers it? i think its slightly above it though!

the 2nd inlet branch will have an R on it and the 3rd will have an S

  DON'T SEND ME PM'S!!
I disagree the RS inlets can't be improved on TBH. They're good, and there's less gains, but they're still an imperfect casting

depends if its running RS inlets or not, ive saw 182 ones worse than your "average" 172 ones

RS inlets only means something if its RS vs stock as the casting of the RS is slightly better.

Matched inlets will be better regardless if its standard or RS which is done. In fact, they used to claim you would get a better end result with a bad casted stock inlet.

if you read the start of the thread you will see some guy said there was no gains to be had by fitting matched inlets on a 182. my post was directed at this due to the fact not all 182's have RS inlets. of course your still going to gain a bit on RS ones depending on how good or bad they are but generally they arnt that far off and i personally wouldn't bother touching them.

KTR aren't offering you any proof of their product's capability - they just say they tend to see these gains. I'd spend the money instead on track driving -learning how to get consistently the most out of these peculiar little cars. But if you want to chase the dream of more power then do it. Firstly though, do a search on here for rolling road results that show what modifications people have made and the gains, discount the data from anywhere but RS Tuning, TDF and Surrey RR and then you can decide.

Ktec offer a stage 2 tuning package for only £450 with claims of 12-15 bhp increase with a printout to prove? Seems good value for money.

What do you guys reckon?

Plus results will vary depending on the health and state of your engine.

PTFE gaskets are a waste of time imo. Total gimmick

Had inlets matched at APD,tbh when you see the originals and the matched together, there is no comparison.I have the rs ones in the garage and its suprising how far out they are.APD did a nice job and RS tuning do a great job of mapping but like Andyman says it depends on how bad you're engine is.

I've got some AP Developments Matched Inlets coming in the post anyway decided to take th plunge and buy them, even though I don't know if my inlets are RS stamped or not I'm sure the APD inlets will be better than the RS stamped ones anyhow, will be updating my project thread soon. The APD inlets were only £130 anyhow upper and lower, and no surcharge so I can keep the original inlets, not a bad price.
