Tyre help.

Its time I get some new front tyres on my 182.

Ive always gone down the route of going to a tyre place and doing it that way BUT can anyone tell me the best way of getting good brand tyres for cheap. What is the deal with the fitting of them as well? Do you buy the tyres then get them fitted by a tyre place...?

Normally go to a mate who owns a tyre garage

Cheapest way is to buy off Camskill get them delivered and take them down to a local tyre garage, they normally charge about £10 a tyre to fit

Some arrange for them to be delivered and fitted to selected fitting stations in your area, or you can deliver them to your house and take them somewhere yourself.

camskill are the cheapest I find, buy them from there ant ring up/go round a few local tyre garages and ask them to fit and balance. £10 each is taking the piss though most will do it for £5.

All of they tyre places around me don't like fitting tyres not bought from them.

Usually pay £15-£18 for fitting each tyre, LOL at £5.

Ouch!! I'd have to move house if I lived there the amount of times I'm swapping tyres on various wheels lol
