been playing on a freeshard for a while, used to play on europa, brilliant game, dated now, still fun though

First MMORPG I played, a long time ago now 1998 I think I played - was on Europa as well. Had me hooked for a long time. One of the best games ever.

I never really 'got' the Ultima series. I bought one version (can't remember which) for the Amiga years ago and didn't really get into it.

I then bought Ultima VII (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultima_VII) which was one of the first games I ever bought for the PC, back in '92. It was a bit mad in so much that I had a 52MB hard drive back then and Ultima VII took up nearly 30MB of that - lol. Way ahead of it's time, but the amount of text reading for me got a bit much.

I bought Ultima VIII (thinking 3rd time lucky and all that ) and I didn't really like it - despite it gaining some great reviews.

Of course, when Ultima Underworld (1 & 2) were released - all that changed. Both games were epic - truly amazing and paved the way for the legendary System Shock. :approve:

i played it, i loved it. I still would, but everythings gone, its really old... ne version of it, i would deffo play it.

Loved my Castle, my Warrior, my Crafter etc. This game was made of Epic.
