Unique paint job, what do you think?

Hi everyone,

I was wokring in the boring office today and suddenly has this come out of my mine. Since 99% clios in my area are in silver. I would like to stand mine out. The crazy idea is to paint the 172 top in black. kinda like mini-cooper. What do you think??? any comments are welcomed!!!

Would look alright i think, id get it vinyl wrapped instead of painted though, so you could take it off and back to original if you wanted

Not very unique, Paint it pink. That's unique.

The thing with a mini is that the roof curves around the edges of the car so that it's clear you can see what colour roof it has. With the Clio, this is not the case, you will probably almost not be able to tell that it has a black roof if you were looking from another car. It's upto you though ofcourse.

Don't do it... Err. on a different not, there's some peeps on here who did it along with a carbon or black bonnet.

i think its origianal boy racer that done his silver 1#2 with a black roof looks ok if your into that sort of thing

Thanks guys for all your opinions. Some newer CLK class Benz has the same colour set up , silver body wiith top roof. I personally think it is very classy and sharp looking. Painting it maybe too much of a risk but maybe vinyl it is worth experimental purpose

Not a fan, surely wrapping is yhour best bet that way if you get fed up of it you can always revert it back? Maybe cf bonnet/bullets/sidestrips if you want the black on silver look?

Its not unique, i think black roofs look chavy.

if your going to do it make sure you vinyl it. If you paint it and dont like it, it will cost more money to revert it back.

People have been doing it in the VAG scene for years, however, I like it!
