UPnP...Enable/disable?

Ive got a netgear DG834g router,Is it best to enable UPnP or disable it within the routers setup?

Could it slow a net connection down at all?

Doesn't usualy make a difference to normal internet but if you use p2p software like bittorrent then put it on because it makes that faster

Leave it on generally, mainly servers and other secure systems that you'd leave it off.

Basically UPNP just allows your router to manage the ports that are mapped and unmapped on the fly at request of the programs you're using. Still advise use of a firewall and A/V ware though.
