V6 Insurance TPFT - would you?

  Racing Blue 182
Cant get insurance cheaper than £3600 on a v6 until July when i turn 21 (can get it then for less than £2k)

I want to swap cars with Philphy, but im not 21 till July.

Would you risk insuring the v6 and TPFT (its still £1750) until july?

Nope not a chance.

Crash it like many have (hence the high premium) and you'll not be abel to replair it cheap panel on the V6 are overpriced £1k per rear side panel not including all the other bits on the side.

If you cannot afford the insurance don't buy the car premiums are high becase people crash your high risk.

I'm surprised you can insurance TPFT only, most companies will only offer fully comp insurance on cars worth over 5k, at least that's what I've found in the past.

  LY V6 with Recaros
No way, I wouldn't risk it. Wait until you can afford the insurance, I'm sure others will come along.

Yeah i agree with that , The big firms certainly wont insure you tpft only on a car like that.

You can just tell them its worth less than £5k the only problem is they won't pay out if its stolen more than £5k.

who the hell is this company who is willing to insure you on a v6 I cant even get a quote for a 2litre thats near 2k.

Greenlight used to insure me on my v6 for around £1400-1500 a year at 22 years old with 1 years no claims. My excess was around £800 though.
