Video Game Recording Session-Cars Wanted

Hi,

My name is Damian and I work for THQ, a video game publisher currently working on the car modification racing game Juiced. To help us accurately mimic in-game audio we are looking to source several Clio Sport 2.0 16vs for a recording session to held on the 4th-5th of January at MIRA facility in Warwickshire.

If you would be interested in allowing us to record your car, meet the criteria below and would like further information please send me a Private Message ASAP.

Criteria for cars:

• To be available to attend a recording session in Warwickshire on the 4th or 5th January.
• We are specifically looking for slightly modified cars preferably with after-market exhaust or at least a de-cat pipe.
• After-market air filters or removing the filter at the facility would give a better induction sound if at all possible.

Anyone chosen to take part will have all expenses paid for during the day, including the cost of fuel to and from the venue. Owners will also receive a finished copy of the game upon release on the format of their choice and also credit within the game itself.

Thanks in advance

Damian

If I dont sell it by then I have THE most AWSOME sounding 172 going..... on Throttle Bodies..... there is the ktec exhaust and decat too... but for induction noise you wont get better mate.

tbh i dont think i have ever heard a car in a game that actually sounds like the real car :s or anyway half decent :)

This is sooo true. Although a few on GT3 sound pretty accurate like the scoobies and the Rufs. Put a racing exhaust on tho and they dont sound anywhere near as good

How about a Mk1 172 with magnex system and 185 bhp as tested by a fisher price rolling road?!?

I thought the game Jucied was already out?

The original Publisher Acclaim went under before it was released, and THQ purchased the rights to Juiced. They have chosen to make it even better than it already was and are aiming for a 2nd quarter 2005 release AFAIK, but Im sure Damo will correct me if Im wrong.

Ive.. er... seen this game... the Clio in it isnt very true to life - I hope the guys at THQ can make a better job of it.

And you need to make it a 182!! (Twin exhausts etc)

Thank you all for the overwhelming response to my post. As Im sure you will appreciate logistically this will take a week or so to sort out as I am trying to source a total of 18 cars to attend over two days.

Please be patient and I will contact those that best suit the job via PM ASAP!

I am sorry I will not be able to respond to you all individually so please assume if you do not hear from me then you will not be needed.

Thanks again everyone!
