Yep, first thing I did when it was brand new! Ride quality is fine, handling greatly improved. You get a pretty subtle drop with Eibach springs - in this pic the red car (mine) has the Eibachs, the Silver one (Roamers) does not.
I had mine done when it was about a month old - no worries with warranty - youre replacing springs that have a 3 year Renault warranty with Eibachs that have a lifetime warranty.
Interestingly my Renault dealer didnt notice that the car had been lowered until I mentioned it, but they are pretty cool about mods in any case - they were asking me about my Magnex exhaust as another customer had seen it and said he wanted them to fit one.
Tesco insurance only wanted to be informed about the springs to ensure that theyd been properly (i.e. professionally) fitted - it made no difference to premiums or excesses etc.
