what colour?

Just picked up my 172 wheels and going to throw them on tomorow so thought id paint the brake calipers but was wondering what you all think would be the best colour to paint them? if it helps my cars monaco blue. Thankss!

its still in the very early days atm, this is pretty much the first big mod and its the ph2 5 spokes. as it stands now its got the ph2 rear lights, de wipered rear, new head unit, smoothed door bullets, some smoked fogs ( which i may lamin-x yellow too) and ive got a dynamique colour coded spoiler ready to fit but i need to order the brake light from renault ... set me back a bit of unessecary money! lol. ill be keeping an eye out for you around then now

I've always gone for silver, but I guess that's because I'm not brave enough to choose a colour and I think silver goes well.

i had a few thoughts abotu silver myself but i thoguht it may blend in with the wheels and quite frankly may be too " safe " :rasp:

And Ty182, what wheels have you got that are being painted? standard 182's or? also what colour?

I've got the cup 182s (anthracite) which I love as they are but I'm going with black/orange detailing on the car. Bullets black with orange lettering, black badges, diamonds on the wheels in orange, interior trim in black with orange writing etc.

sounds absolutley awsome! if i wasnt so tight for money i would be investing in a nicer car like yours rather than a 1.4 but unfortunatly when your still in college and insurance demolishes you... im left with little other option than a 1.4! but oh well, ill make what i can of it :rasp:

F'sho! I've seen loads of gorgeous non-sports on here. Insurance demolishes me too, 22 with 1 year NCB but hell with it, I love the car and I don't go out on the lash every week so.... pay rise soon too, hopefully then more modding :evil:

sounds good ty182, i have a racing blue 182 got white bullets with RB detail on white diamonds on my standard alloys and white diamonds on front and rear, also getting a tow eye from Si which might go kawaski green as i have some left over paint.

22 and having a 182 isnt bad going! yeah im the same, now im running a motor im willign to sacrifice a nights drinking as it saves me a substantial amount of money! its going to be a slow progress modding her but ill get there eventually and hopefully have something to be proud of

Gunner that's the way to go, I think it's better to do it slowly as there's always gonna be something new to buzz off and it's even better if you've waited a while. As opposed to doing all kinds to it in one go, then getting bored after a week!
