What to coat inner wheel arches etc with?

Bilt hamber is your friend. Look at there range, they have products to eliminate rust, and paints that coat in zinc to prevent rust in the future. Simply anything these guys make is superb.

Look for something called wax oil, you can get it in an aerosol can and it works a treat!
