What to do with speakers?

Hey guys, I'm planning on making a false rear floor for the 172 as it's easier to get all my detailing gear in etc. I was thinking about the parcel shelf, as theres some speakes fitted to it so I left it in place for the mo. The sound from them is good tbf, I didn't install them btw.
Heres a pic of what I have. Any idea's what's best to do? I'd like to remove the shelf.
