right, ok what u need to do is get some p38, and u will need wet/dry paper lots of ranging through all the grades.
now, you need to take the badge off, then rub the area down with a rough wet/dry and then mix your filler, now DONT try and get it perfect first time as you wont, apply some filler to the indent in the bonnet and get your self a big float (or spreader) and skim the filler in trying to make it smooth as possible, now you are going to need to skim over a LARGE area of the front of the bonnet, dont just fill the indent and try and rub back as you will be able to see it still, give a good 6-10" either way of the badged dent as a rough guide as to how much u need to spread it.
then its a case of rubbing it back useing diff grades of paper, u wont need a really rough piece as it will scratch the filler and give you more work to do, mix up a bown of warm water and a splash of liquid soap, then soak the paper and wrap the paper around a block so you get an even finish, keep doing it untill its smooth, get some 2 pack spray primer and when you think you are done, spray a few light layers on to the filler and surrounding area then you will be able to see how much work you have left to do as it will make the area flat and easier to define what you need to do, you may have to do a couple of layers of filler to get it perfect, remember to clean your float as any hard filler left on it will scratch the other layers.
