Which Brake pads

I need some new pads, but i have no idea which ones to get. I obviouly want good stoppers but I also want them to last a while. i dont do track or drag and rarely hammer it.

Are the ktec uprated breaks worth the money?

ive just bought some tar-ox rear pads and i can honestly say thery are very good and well worth the money - and there is hardly ANY brake dust!...

i also have Green stuff on the front which are also very good...

these are the only 2 i can reccommend as ive not used any other pads, but im sure they would all do just the same thing!

Mintex M1144s are superb, but the K-Tec ones aint bad...

Id go for Ferodo DS2500s (i think) had them on a GTV V6 and now an NSX, great.

Well, just ordered a set of Tar-ox pads from Nick.. cause at 24k mile service my front pads were 80% worn, and I aint paying Renault monkeys 130+ quid for replacing pads, when I can get tar-ox ones and do it myself for half the cost !

see this is my problem

i have never had a real performance motor before so have never had to worry to much about the pads just got some standard one from halfords. Now with this car i dont want to risk any old pads and i seem to get conflicting information about which pads and I am not sure which way to go.

KDF how much were the tarox pad and what is the lead time on them as i need to get the brakes sorted this week.
