Which brakes? 16V

Want some reccomendations on which brake pads and discs to go for for my valver. I want decent sets, that produce little brake dust but don't want to pay silly prices as I'm spending a lot lately getting my car back on the road. Heard mintex and EBC pads are good but not too sure... Anyway opinions please...

Mintex are fine, worth the money, no point in spending too much and standard disks.

Low dust doesn't seem to go well with good brakes.

Personally I'd stick with stock FDB845 from Halfords etc (there stock and very good realy) or if you want to spend a bit more DS2500's but there £60 or so vs £17 for stock FDB845 pads.

I only paid £24 for mintex on the Valver (Performance pads) thought they had more bite when heated than the Halfords stock pads.

Could of been in my head, never carried out any tests...

best and actually very cheap brakes i find are from BRAKE (or brake engineering). Loads of trade counters have em in stock.
