My 172 Cup has been trouble free for the last 18 months. I don't bother with Renault stealers for servicing, I use a mobile mechanic who is ex-Renault. Renault stealers are all to eager to bend you over and shaft you with their labour prices. £205 for a basic oil change service? Yeah right!
I'm of the opinion that a car is only as reliable as it's owner. If you look after it, it'll look after you. Ignore that noise at your peril....
