WILLIAMS POSS UP FOR SALE!!

  2010 focus Rs
Hey chaps!
thinking of selling the old girl maybe within the next few weeks/months (i dont know), just wanted to see what everybody thinks shes worth heres the spec.
Williams 3 on a genuine low 58,000 miles with full service history and 13 stamps all documented in a HUGE folder, all tax discs and MOT's, just had alot of recent work costing around £1500 which consisted of a new PAS rack along with new PAS pump, new cambelt with all tenshioners and pulleys, new inlet manifold gasket, new exhaust gaskets, new clutch cable with the pedal ratchet, and new pads aswell. time and money hasn't been spared with the car and there's no sign of any rust the arches have been re-treated at cost of £450, and wheels are un kerbed.
As for the interior its unmarked, as in no sign of wear at all, no scratches not rips no nothing, everything works as should do (passenger window motor bit slower than drivers). the car is all standard apart from a recent new hand made exhaust due to the last going faulty! drives superb!! heres the piccys;

It's hard to say . It's obviously gonna go to an enthusiast . There are a few on autotrader at the moment . A Willy 3 going for £4995 and and a Willy 2 going for £5495 only a couple of thousand more miles than yours . If they are pretty accurate valuations then you should be looking at something similar .

If my ph1 valver was a willy it would have been worth an absolute fortune! (36k miles, completely mint). Still got £3.6k for it IIRC 8 months ago.

I think realistically £4,000 is a good value. Anything more is just dreaming, others may be priced at more than that but will not sell, give it a go though.

Stunning, I am currently saving for a mint Williams! I need to save though as I have just spent over £2000 on baby equipment! :)

thanks guys for the comments has been well looked must admit i dont stop cleaning her! its good seeing people still rate the williams you know!

One of the best i've seen in a very long time. I don't think asking 4k -4.5k for it or a bit more is unreasonable at all.

cheers mate, yeah but its got to go to the right owner, dont want someone who dont have a clue to come along and thrash her or send it into another scrap yard like most of them are!

I wouldn't take a shiny penny under £4.5k. It will go at that price, might take a while though as it needs an enthusiast to come along, but it will sell. How many owners has it had?

*waits for that guy Rclio2006 or something to come along and say £1,500*

it a nice car but when someone has 4k in there hand theres alot of nice cars they can get..

you could get 3k easy, 3.5k perhaps, 4k if you wait 6 months and someone really wants it, but you will be waiting..

when my mate gets cars like this there for sale from the minute he buys them. in the end someone turns up wanting it for big money, but he may have to part with it before he wants too..

true but a williams is a williams, they are sought after. If someones looking for one they'll have his hand off for it. If I wanted one i'd deffo go & see it, the price I mentioned isn't unreasonable at all. You get what you pay for.

- dan, knowsit mate.

gorgeous, absolutley mint example. make sure you sell to someone on a forum like here or renaultsport where they know what they're buying and will treat it with the respect it deserves

once you take off the rose tinted glasses a williams is a 16v with gold wheels, a little more cc, some blue dials, blue flecked seats and a widetrack set up that can be pretty much bought off the shelf that Renault say williams set up:eek:

the williams is a modern classic, but the high priced ones are often for sale a very long time.

if the car had less than 30k on the clock it would be worth 4 or 5k+

Me too . If it's in as good a condition as it looks and it's described it should fetch top dollar .It's a limited edition , it was probably the car to have back in it's day and it'll still hold it's own against most modern cars of today in it's class .

I wish i had a few quid to spare , i'd snap it up no problem :)
