Willy 1

  BMW 535d
Hi guys, Frank from Essex. Own Williams No.125

Since owning the car I have bolted a turbo to the old girl. Not quite as easy as that sounds though.

May be common conversion now, but in my defence apart from the actual internals, I built it all myself!

No power figures yet. Still running it in. Mapping on Friday. (Can barely contain the excitement actually)

Thanks anyway. Hi to all that don't know me already. Can be a bit controversial but I will at least behave myself to begin with

I love you already just for the pure legend barge you drive :)

Willy 1 + turbo = legend status achieved ;)

What sort of numbers you hoping for after mapping??

With the spec (extensive) ive gone for i would be gutted not to in excess of the 300bhp mark. just for figures sake.

It runs an emerald k6 standalone though, so will have a choice of three maps. One for road, pod and maybe some pops and bangs mapping!

Nice I bet that 300+ HP will be right hoot!

how long did this project build take then??

If you have got a project diary of pictures and so on it would be great project thread read if you have time to put one together :)

Welcome to ClioSport!

The yard in the pictures looks familiar - Not Binders by any chance?

  BMW 535d
It is Binders mate yes. I take it you are the chap who lives about 300yards from the bricklayers arms

Thanks kieran

Nice one Brian, seen your LY a few times parked in the garage. Cant say Ive EVER seen you drive it though.

Williams has now taken residence in Binders workshop. I moved up here in around April so ill be up for most meets as long as the Clio behaves

LOL, yeah, it basically lives in the garage. What do you do at Binders? yard based I assume?

  BMW 535d
I run it mate. Make the topsoil etc

We bought Binders in April off the administrators. So since then I took residence and also took the workshop from the lads!

Ive noticed you have a landscaping company van parked outside your house. Hence you recognising the yard?

We were glad Binders survived the Munro's disaster! We've not had much need for soil etc recently and even then we rarely visit your yard as delivered is preferred.

Elliot - So true it hurts!

Mate dont be worried about doing it. All i would say is dont sell the original engine, try and keep itsomewhere. At least then you could put it back to standard. I couldnt now, modified toomany things and would cost more to put it back.

Tbh though, the only thing that gives it away are the 4 pots and the flutter of the turbo. Apart from that it looks like any other Williams 1
