Ex 182 owner
Afternoon All,
Could anyone advise. Just got my 182. I wanted to check the state of the cabin filter so went to remove the trim above the filter box. It was proving tricky and I found that the windcreen had a bit of sealant that was sticking the glass to the trim for about 4 inches on the wing end. Obviously this came away with the trim.
I know the windscreen was replaced by one of the previous owners not that long ago. so guessing the sealant was added then. Is it common to have it in these area? or has somone just done what thy think needs doing?
