Windscreen wiper bald patch!

I've tried a couple of different wiper blades on my clio (2005) and they all miss a great big streak across the middle of the windscreen!

Both standard and aero blades do it, the bit they miss is directly under where they join the wiper arm.

Has anyone else had this problem? Can anyone recommend some decent blades?

I had the same problem, i bent the metal bit that holds the blade towards the windscreen so it pushed down harder, it works but in the long run it will prob wear the blade down but it works fine now so i dont mind :)

This was my fix too! It's lasted a couple of weeks but got the same problem again. Also, it takes the edges of the blade off the windscreen, so I get a bald patch at the top and bottom!

I wondered if the springs on the wiper arms were knackered and not pressing the blade down hard enough?

After using Bosch Aero wipers, I am going back to the old Bosch Super Plus blades (with spoiler) as they didn't have a problem with coverage and were just as good and cleaning too.
