Xbox Game Downloads Pricing

So, recently been playing a lot of GTA IV and realised I never had TLATD or TBOGT.

Looked at the store and they were 800MS and 1800MS, so around £25 and you need GTA IV to play them I believe.

I saw not long ago you could buy Liberty City Stories, so looked on Amazon and its £14.05 + £2 delivery. So I bought that, I can't play it today but it'll be here Tuesday. You can also play this without needing GTA IV as I guess it just comes with the map etc. on.

So how does it cost £10 more for a virtual product with no "manufacturing" costs or delivery costs? Seems a bit steep to me, should definitely be the same, or around physical copy prices.

maybe because its 'on demand'? Your right though, its a crappy pricing strategy.

I saw this the other week, Forza Horizon was about £45 on there yet a lot cheaper in the shops.

I assumed with there being no disc, case and manual it would be discounted on XBL.

xbox charge what they want for everything because its instant.

its the same price on amazon. (2100 for £16 and 800 for £6)
